Happy New Year!
Let me start with acknowledging… No more cancer! Hallelujah!
I wanted to update you within the first week of the new year coming in. I woke up and was feeling very emotional after seeing a text from my friend Wendy Shurelds asking me for a photo for an upcoming event in February. I had to go through my photos and as I looked back, it made me cry.
I tried to do the video for the blog with all of that raw emotion but, decided that I just didn’t want to put that one out. So we have this video that I recorded on Sunday, January 21st instead 😊
Dealing with my breast cancer issues was hard enough but, my mom was battling health issues too. She’d been hospitalized a few times while I was going through everything. And the prognosis from the doctors was not good at all.
She is still living in Pittsburgh and I’m here in San Diego. It’s been tough. And honestly, I feel what the doctors are saying is probably true. I do not feel as though I have a lot of time to see my mom. I’m working on getting back to Pittsburgh within the next few months to visit her.
I was able to go to Guam and enjoy time with my daughter and son-in-law. My son-in-law had bought my airline ticket months in advance for me to be there for the wedding as a Christmas gift to my daughter. I so appreciated that, and I had a wonderful time.
It is now 2018 and it’s time to make up for lost time. There was so much I wasn’t able to do in 2017 and I just want to do EVERYTHING but, knowing realistically, I have to be careful to not overdo myself. However, I am ready to create… Ready to do what I can to help myself and that means helping others. So it’s time to get back to business… The best I can.
It’s really hard because as much as I have to be careful to not get carried away, I went through last year without income and by His grace, I had some really great people looking out for me as property managers. There were also a few programs for cancer patients that helped me too. I am doing what I can.
Some days I feel I can do a lot and other days, I really don’t feel well. As I write this blog post right now, I am not feeling well but, I promised myself I would get this done by TODAY.
I’m still dealing with the neuropathy, chemo brain, and I have anemia. No I possibly have rheumatoid arthritis and concerns about my kidneys… All from the medicines (poisons). Still seeing my psychologist… Ugg. But at least the chemo started shrinking the cancer with the first treatment.
So I am going to close out with this… If you need video or want to take advantage of the awesome ways the QR code can help you, whether it’s for business or personal, please let me know…. 619-248-2640 or get a FREE 15 consultation by getting on my calendar [CALENDAR]
Here’s a copy of a calendar I made of my daughter and son-in-law showing a photo from their wedding. At the bottom is the QR code which takes you to a video I did for them. This is such a great gift for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions. Click the photo so that you can watch a video I did that shows more…
The below photo is of a new business in my neighborhood. I created this QR code placard for them to place in their doors so that even when they are closed, people can scan that code and learn more about them. Again… Click the photo and you can watch the video.
